Rob Pike

CEO & Founder
As founder and CEO of Cyemptive Technologies, Rob Pike leads with a wealth of experience in creating new technologies and bringing them to market for companies both large and small.

Pike founded Cyemptive in 2014, with the vision of ushering in a new era of cybersecurity. Working in stealth mode, the company focused on developing a revolutionary approach to solving cyber threats, using a pre-emptive strategy to remove hackers and threats in real time. The resulting technology was so impressive that the Department of Homeland Security named it the most innovative border security related solution on the market in its first-ever national competition.

Prior to founding Cyemptive, Pike served as Chief Strategy Officer at Hitachi Data Systems in Japan, where he invented Hitachi’s cloud platform UCP. Before that, he was with Microsoft, where he served in a variety of capacities culminating with Virtualization Architect, where he invented an internal cloud solution. He has founded several startups, in addition to Cyemptive Technologies.
Pike holds numerous patents in servers, storage, networking, monitoring, security and management.

Jim DuBois

Chief Strategy Officer
Cyemptive Technologies’ Chief Strategy Officer Jim DuBois is a tech leader with a modern view of IT innovation and transformation.
He comes to Cyemptive from Microsoft, where he served in a variety of roles during his 25 year tenure with the company, including CIO and Chief Information Security Officer. While at Microsoft, he directed IT modernization through corporate growth, turnaround, acquisition integrations, and divestitures, including driving the digital transformation of the company for CEO Satya Nadella.
In addition to serving as Chief Strategy Officer for Cyemptive, DuBois sits on the board of a number of companies, including Expeditors, Catalina, and Collabra. He is a Venture Advisor for Ignition Partners and Venture Partner – Technology Practice for Ridge-Lane Limited Partners. He is an author and speaker who enjoys shaping enterprise technology global vision, industry leadership positioning, and customer product and service delivery strategies. His speeches include lessons learned at Microsoft including technical strategy, cybersecurity, cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
DuBois holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science and a bachelor of arts degree in business from the University of Washington.

Gary Zelanko

Chief Information Security Officer
As Chief Information Security Officer for Cyemptive Technologies, Gary Zelanko brings more than 35 years of experience in innovative computer designs and architectures, including as Chief Computer Architect for the National Security Agency (NSA).
In his role at Cyemptive Technologies, Zelanko is responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, overseeing and maintaining the company’s information security program. He also works on product development for the company’s proprietary, patented cybersecurity technology that pre-empts cyber attacks in real time, rather than days, weeks or months as compared to other solutions.
While at the NSA, Zelanko managed, developed and built dozens of systems to include Information Assurance Systems, Knowledge Systems and the Enterprise Knowledge System as well as Big Data Analytics and Extreme-Scale Data Analytics Systems. Zelanko has also served as Director, Advance Technology Strategic Development for ViON Corporation where he managed engineering programs and operations for projects in the compilation and dissemination of data. These included Large In-Memory Analytical Systems and Big Data Analytics. He also was involved with the developments in Knowledge System Designs, Ontology’s, and Cyber Intelligence.
Zelanko is a military veteran, having served in the United States Air Force, Electronic Security Division.

Jim fasone

Chief Risk Officer

Jim Fasone is an industry veteran and senior risk management/ insurance executive who has spent most of his career in the risk and insurance sectors.

As Chief Risk Officer of Cyemptive, Fasone is responsible for Cyemptive’s enterprise risk function and strategic risk transfer partnerships. His focus is on creating unique go to market strategies leveraging strategic partnerships and utilizing various alternative risk structures. He works with some of the industry’s best brokers and underwriters to help mitigate the cybersecurity threats.
Fasone brings with him more than 30 years of extensive experience in risk management, insurance brokerage, mergers and acquisitions, as well as creating unique scalable programs in the technology, healthcare and financial services sectors. His expertise includes enterprise risk management, strategic partnerships, go to market strategies, product development, mergers and acquisitions, and operational and process improvement. Fasone is also an innovator in the development of proprietary tools that improve KPIs, increase revenue, and reduce the long term carrying costs of unique and emerging risks.
Fasone is a graduate of the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, and has received designations as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and a Registered Property Liability Underwriter (RPLU).

Ray McCay

Chief Revenue Officer
Ray McCay is a veteran product, sales and marketing executive whose focus is to create and deliver unparalleled value to help customers achieve their missions.
As Chief Revenue Officer for Cyemptive, McCay is responsible for solution and customer value strategy, customer satisfaction, marketing, promotions, revenue generation and solution positioning for Cyemptive. His focus is on organizations and entities that prioritize the highest attainable security posture, such as critical supply chain organizations and high value organizations often targeted by organized crime and other cyber criminals.
McCay brings with him nearly 25 years of experience with Hitachi Data Systems in engineering and sales roles, including nine years as Senior Vice President of Global Product Strategy and three years as Senior Vice President of Global Solution Sales. Most recently, McCay was responsible for multicloud strategy for a private firm working with multiple US Federal Government agencies. Previously, he was responsible for technology acquisitions at McDonnell Douglas.
He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Tennessee Technological University.

Stewart MacLeod

Chief Technology Officer
Stewart MacLeod is a senior leader and software innovator with 38 US and international patents for his inventions.
As Chief Technical Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering for Cyemptive, MacLeod is responsible for helping define the short and long-term engineering strategy for the company. This includes overseeing the design and management of Cyemptive’s revolutionary cybersecurity software development, implementing advanced machine learning algorithms, leading worldwide research and development of next-generation security products, managing all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and communicating the company’s strategy to investors, partners, and employees.
MacLeod brings with him more than 20 years of experience as a software innovator architecting new products and end-to-end management of the agile development process, program management, and marketing for companies such as Microsoft. While at Microsoft, MacLeod Introduced eight new products and components to more than 100 million customers. He invented software and hardware solutions to very hard problems obtaining 19 patents, with the results adding over $5 billion to Microsoft revenues. He was the company spokesperson handling all press tours and major media requests on SQL Server including live demonstrations.
MacLeod holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Regis University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He also studied physics/astrophysics at the University of Chicago.

Johannes riedl

Vice President Cyber Solutions Europe
Johannes Riedl is a seasoned senior executive and non-executive director, with a focus on digital transformation. He has a passion for cybersecurity, having seen first hand its importance in protecting businesses and individuals from cyber threats.
As Vice President of Cyber Solutions Europe, Riedl serves as head of Cyemptive’s United Kingdom and German business, which he has set up from the ground up. Among his responsibilities are bringing in new clients and developing partnerships, with an emphasis on the financial services, manufacturing, and medium to large business sectors. While his initial focus is on the UK and Germany, Riedl also oversees the company’s expansion into additional European areas.
Riedl brings with him nearly 20 years of experience in digital transformation spanning multiple industries. Among the businesses he has helped build during his career include NETSOL Technologies, a NASDAQ-traded worldwide provider of IT and enterprise software solutions primarily serving the global leasing and finance industry. He is also a former senior executive for KPMG and a former board member for NETSOL.
He holds a degree in business administration from Munich Business School.

Varun Vaid

Vice President Cyber Solutions
Varun Vaid is an international business professional who has worked extensively in developing strategic partnerships and alliances across the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. His focus is on delivering exceptional value to all stakeholders, with a commitment to excellence and a passion for driving business success.
At Cyemptive, Vaid is responsible for the company’s strategic accounts in the Americas. This includes Cyemptive’s operations across the region with Fortune 100-500 companies. He also serves as regional head of Cyemptive in the Middle East and Africa, where he is initiating operations from the ground up beginning with Dubai. He is also responsible for developing partnerships for Cyemptive, initially in the Americas, the Middle East and Africa with plans to expand into other areas in the future.
Vaid brings with him more than 12 years of experience in consultative solution selling, business expansion, channel development, team management, alliances, and negotiations within the cybersecurity and cloud/SaaS sectors. This includes his tenure at AIC Inc, a prominent provider of OEM/ODM and commercial off-the-shelf server and storage solutions, where he held the position of Business Manager for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer. Prior to this role, Vaid held pivotal positions with leading cybersecurity providers in the Middle East and Africa. He played a central role in spearheading digital transformation initiatives for major clients across enterprise and government sectors throughout EMEA. Vaid’s proficiency in forging partnerships, cultivating ecosystems, driving channel sales, and implementing operational KPIs has consistently yielded tangible business outcomes.
Vaid holds a variety of degrees and certifications in business planning and entrepreneurship, including a post graduate degree in management (PGDM) and completion of an Advanced Global Management Program. He also has a diploma in software engineering as well as multiple sales and presales certifications in cybersecurity.

Wessel Graatsma

Vice President Cybersecurity Solutions Europe

Graatsma is an entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record of leading business growth and expansions across Europe.

In his role with Cyemptive, Graatsma is responsible for business development and advising on expanding Cyemptive’s business in the European market.  His initial focus is on developing business and partners in Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg), the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland) and Spain.  His emphasis is on the telecommunications, IT services and consulting, e-commerce and online retail, healthcare IT, financial technology (FinTech), transport and education technology sectors.

Graatsma brings with him more than 35 years of experience in developing business with channel partners and distributors, service and cloud Providers, OEM and alliances, telecommunications companies, data centers and strategic technology partners.  He is an international expert in leading and developing data and security business and has extensive experience working for specialized and global IT companies.  In addition to his role at Cyemptive, Graatsma has been a board member of European Councils for IBM and Hitachi in EMEA to develop innovative data and security solutions.  He also developed his own company into a significant data and security European player, which he later sold to a NASDAQ-traded company.  He is a founding partner of CY Consulting, an international consulting firm specializing in helping businesses both large and small move forward to growing their businesses to the next level.

Graatsma holds a MBA degree, Master of Business Administration from Newport University.

Jean-Luc Cervera

Vice President Cyber Solutions Europe

Jean-Luc Cervera is an international expert in solutions sales whose mission is to define the quantitative and qualitative objectives of each company or business unit for which he works, including companies such as Hitachi Data Systems. He is dedicated to enhancing performance and profitability through innovative business models.
In his role with Cyemptive, Cervera is assisting the company in entering the French, Belgian and Italian markets. His initial focus is on insurance, healthcare and industry.
Cervera brings with him more than 35 years of experience in winning business model strategies, complex solution sales, optimizing GTMs, digital transformation of companies, innovation and smart cities. His background includes HItachi Data Systems, where he served as Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Compute Platform and Converged Solutions Sales, and responsible for the EMEA sales overlay organization which focused on working with the company’s existing global sales and channel organizations to bring Hitachi servers and Converged Data Center Solutions to market. He is also a founding partner of JLC Consulting, an international consulting firm specializing in helping businesses both large and small move forward to growing their businesses to the next level.
Cervera holds a DUT, Genie Electrique from the Université de Toulon and a master of science from Aix-Marseille University.

Vince Dova

Vice President Solutions and Sales Operations

Vince Dova brings extensive experience in cybersecurity and military operations to his current role at Cyemptive. As a former Branch Chief at The Joint Chiefs of Staff, he advised the Chairman on cyber-related issues, focusing on military network defense and the cybersecurity of the Defense Industrial Base and Critical Infrastructure. His work involved collaboration across the Department of Defense, Interagency, National Security Council, and Congress.

At Cyemptive, Dova coordinates global market strategy and product planning for the company’s cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, while developing organizational and technical governance to ensure the security of intellectual property and client data.

During his distinguished 20-year career as a naval aviator, Dova logged nearly 2,400 hours across various aircraft types while deploying to around the world, from the Arctic Sea to the Arabian Gulf. In addition to his work on the Joint Staff with Cyber Defense, he served as a flight instructor, a mishap investigator, a carrier strike group air defense coordinator, and a National Military Command Center battle-watch captain.  

Dova holds a master’s degree in computer network operations, and is an honor graduate of both the Naval War College and School of Aviation Safety.

Sara Lowry

Human Resource Manager

Sara Lowry is a dedicated and results-driven Human Resource Manager with a wealth of experience in talent development, organizational integration, and employee engagement. With a strong background in customer service and process optimization, she excels at improving efficiency, fostering positive workplace culture, and aligning HR practices with business goals to drive productivity and employee satisfaction.

In her current role, Lowry is responsible for managing employee relations, developing recruitment strategies, and overseeing performance management systems. She works closely with leadership to design and implement HR initiatives that support organizational growth and enhance employee experience. Additionally, she plays a key role in implementing training and development programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and managing benefits and compensation strategies.

Prior to her current position, Lowry served as IT Services and Project Manager at Cyemptive, where she successfully managed cross-functional teams and client relationships. She also held a series of administrative roles in the legal and healthcare industries, where she developed a strong foundation in process management, conflict resolution, and operational support.

Sara is passionate about creating work environments where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Theresa Farris

Senior Vice President Customer Experience
Theresa Farris is a result-oriented information technology, telecommunications and data management professional with more than 25 years of comprehensive experience in a complex, global enterprise environment including her extensive career at Microsoft.
Farris has served in a variety of roles at Cyemptive, in addition to her current position as Senior Vice President of Customer Experience. These include Senior Vice President of Productization, responsible for providing leadership for development and innovation resources and leading a team of developers, and Vice President of Customer Experience, responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of the company’s global customer experience organization.
Farris is an experienced software industry leader who has held positions involving consulting practice management, technical group management, technical field sales enablement, driving a learning organization and knowledge management systems, organizational communications direction, professional relationship building, cross-team collaboration and training development/delivery. At Microsoft, she served as Senior Program Manager focused on client services and experience including managing multimillion dollar budgets. Among her responsibilities included representing Microsoft IT explaining “How Microsoft Does IT”.

Farris’ educational background includes multiple licenses and certificates, including PMI, Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL – Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, Microsoft Data Communications Curriculum and IMS – Overview of Internetworking Protocols.
